Purchase Agreement

The ticket is a revocable license. By using this ticket and entering Rogers Place or any other area granted access by this ticket (“Facility”), the holder, on behalf of the holder and any minor accompanying the holder (individually and collectively, “Holder”), agrees to be bound by all of the terms of this license. Failure to comply with laws or Facility and other applicable rules may result in refusal of admission or expulsion.

Holder agrees not to transmit, distribute, or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing, or selling) any description, account, picture, video, audio or other form of reproduction of the event or any surrounding activities (in whole or in part) for which this ticket is issued (the “Event”).

Any non-editorial or commercial use of any league, team, Facility or Event mark is prohibited without prior written approval of OEG, league or organizer/promoter of the Event, as the case may be.

This ticket may not be used for any commercial or trade purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, without the express written consent of Oilers Entertainment Group Canada Corp. (“OEG”).

Breach of any of the terms of this license, failure to comply with the Facility rules, or the refunding to Holder of the printed purchase price of this ticket, shall automatically terminate any rights that Holder may have hereunder; shall render illegal and unauthorized Holder’s use of the ticket for any purpose; and shall authorize OEG to withdraw the ticket, refuse admission to the Facility, or eject Holder from the Facility.

Breach of any of the terms of this license shall also subject Holder to all legal remedies available to OEG and its affiliates.

Holder grants permission to OEG, the league and the organizer/promoter of the Event to utilize Holder’s image, likeness, actions and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the Event in any medium or context for editorial, commercial or promotional purposes without further authorization or compensation.

WARNING: DESPITE ENHANCED SPECTATOR SHIELDING MEASURES, OBJECTS STILL MAY FLY INTO SPECTATOR AREAS. SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR. STAY ALERT AT ALL TIMES. IF INJURED IN ANY WAY, ASK HOST FOR DIRECTIONS TO MEDICAL STATION.

HOLDER OF THIS TICKET VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISK AND DANGER of personal injury (including death) and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the Event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise, including specifically but not exclusively, danger of injury by hockey pucks, sticks and other equipment, glass, other spectators or players or by thrown objects. Holder agrees that OEG, Facility, organizer/promoter of the Event, league, participating teams, City of Edmonton, their respective officers, employees, players, agents, and affiliates, are expressly released by Holder from any claims arising from or relating to such causes or otherwise occurring at or in connection with the Event.

Holder consents to reasonable examinations and searches to ensure compliance with laws and Facility rules and acknowledges alcoholic beverages (other than sold on premises), illegal substances, weapons, cameras, recording devices and packages are not permitted on the premises. If Holder elects not to consent to these searches, Holder will be denied entry into Facility.

Tickets deemed lost or stolen will not be honoured.
